What we learned
Nine questions, tested on GMI's own data with the plan locked first and the later days opened once.
Do hot stocks keep going?
No
No. Surges are real (a stock reaches +50% within 10 sessions about 8% of the time, against about 3% for similar stocks), but the average result was negative, and three or more hot days in a row were followed by a fall.
Is GMI's first "heating up" reading the best moment?
A little
Yes. Later readings did worse. Even first readings lost about 1.1% on average by the close.
Does GMI's squeeze check find winners?
No
No. Cleared stocks did no better than similar ones and were less likely to reach +50% in 10 days. A higher score, or passing more days, did not help.
Do SEC filings move small stocks beyond costs?
No
No. None of 420 tests survived costs.
Did the spread limit block winners?
No
No. Blocked stocks did about 1 point worse than comparable ones.
Does avoiding thin stocks help?
A little
A little. Leaving out the thinnest 30% cut the average loss by about 0.3 to 0.6 points, but the stocks left still lost on average over 5 days after costs.
Does waiting for a better price help?
A little
It cut the loss (about 0.7 to 1.6 points per decision) but the result was still negative. That is an engine-side choice, not something this app does.
Did trade behaviour, GMI's other readings, day of week, news timing, look-alike stocks, crowded days or Friday starts help?
No
No. None added anything on top.
When the board already showed a run stage, how did GMI's BUY do?
A little
About 10 points more likely to go nowhere.
Tested on GMI's own historical data.
